IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

In the 1920's New York City was the home of several big time football teams, and NYU was right up there with them, having to play their home games in the Polo Grounds or Yankee Stadium in order to meet the demand for seats.

And the Violets gave the fans their money's worth, posting an 8-2 record and beating national powers Missouri and Carnegie Tech. Fordham was on the brink of a 14 year run that would put them up there with the Michigans and Alabamas of the college football world, but for the time being Gotham belonged to NYU.
