IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

In one of the more exciting (and bizarre) finishes of any national championship game to date, the Buckeyes apparently shot a blank on an attempted game-tying pass with seconds remaining in the first overtime period, only to be blessed with an interference call that enabled them to tie the Hurricanes on the final play. The Buckeyes then beat went on to win in the second overtime, and claimed the coveted Foam Finger #1. But many fans* only discovered the final score with the arrival of their morning paper, having shut off their televisions in disgust before the flag that saved the game.

* Including us, we're embarrassed to admit.
