IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

The New York Mayor's Relief Fund wanted to match the National Champion Irish against the New York Giants in a postseason charity event to benefit the unemployed, but Coach Rockne countered with an offer of fielding a team of "Notre Dame All-Stars," consisting of noteworthy players from past Rockne teams. The result? The winners were the charity, the Notre Dame mystique, and the Giants, roughly in that order. The final score on the field was Giants, 24; ND, 0. It was to be the last Notre Dame game that Rockne ever coached.
