IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

In a way it was just another game in an otherwise unexceptional (5-4) season, but a halftime speech by Knute Rockne, in which he evoked the dying wish of George Gipp to "win one for the Gipper," made this win over Army into one of the iconic events in American sports history. The speech was later immortalized by Pat O'Brien in "The Knute Rockne Story," co-starring a certain future President as The Gipper.
