IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

If the Cadets could have stayed away from Yankee Stadium that year, they would have been a lot better off, as both of their setbacks came at The House That Ruth Built. This narrow loss to Notre Dame was to go down in history as the "Win One For The Gipper" game, in which an emotional Notre Dame coach Knute Rockne evoked the dying wish of his late All-American back George Gipp in order to inspire his men to victory against a superior Army team.
