IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Never has there been a more fortuitous upset than this one. Undefeated and nearly unscored upon during their first eight games that year, Boston College's Eagles were so confident of capping a perfect season against the unranked Crusaders that it had made reservations for a victory party at the Coconut Grove nightclub the evening after the game. But after Holy Cross had left the Eagles in a 55-12 pile of dust, the disgusted BC eleven canceled the party---and a good thing, too, since that very night the Coconut Grove caught fire, killing 492 people in what remains the deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history.
