IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

This was one of the "Games Of The Century" that really lived up to its billing, as the 10-0-0 Irish met the 11-0-0 Crimson Tide in the aftermath of a New Orleans monsoon. And after a blown Alabama extra point gave Notre Dame a shaky 24-23 lead, an improvised 36 yard pass from Tom Clements to Robin Weber got the Irish out of the shadow of their goal line with 2:12 to play, and from there they were able to run out the clock. It was one of the Blue and Gold's finest hours.
