IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Navy had one of those years which looked better on paper than it felt after the season was over. The Middies lost but two games, but those two were against Army and Notre Dame. In this late October matchup against the Irish, it was All-American Paul Hornung who ruined the Navy's day, having a hand in all 21 of his team's points and adding two interceptions just to rub it in. It was the finest performance of Hornung's college career, and it couldn't have happened at a worse time for the Middies.
