Purdue was once again one of the nation's top teams in 1931, with only a narrow loss to Wisconsin marring their bid for perfection. And remembering the stunning upset at the hands of the Hoosiers the previous time around, they made sure that there was to be no repeat. From the Hoosier standpoint, the game program was the highlight of the day.
