Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. Clark Shaugnessy took over the coaching job this year, and the results were electric. Introducing the T-formation for the first time on the Palo Alto campus, his Frankie Albert-led team went on to compile a perfect 10-0-0 record, capping it with a 21-13 win over powerful Nebraska in the Rose Bowl.

An interesting sidebar to this team was its influence on the NFL. The Chicago Bears' coach George Halas, intrigued with the possibilities of the T-formation, adopted it for his NFL title matchup against the Washington Redskins. After the Monsters of the Midway managed to escape with a 73 to 0 win over the baffled Washingtonians, the inevitable death of the single wing within the ranks of professional football was not long in the making.
