IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

This was the beginning of Southern Cal's greatest rivalry, and perhaps the greatest national rivalry of them all. One noteworthy sidebar to the occasion was a Trojan substitute named Marion Morrison, who later decided that this wasn't a good name to attract horses with, and changed it to John Wayne. Ironically, in this same year Wayne also made his screen debut---being cast as a YALE football player!
