IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

The 'Game of the Century' was what the sportswriters called it, in a 1969 poll commemorating college football's 100th anniversary. It marked the first time that the Ramblers had matched up with Ohio State, and with their luck it happened that going into the game the Buckeyes were unbeaten and considered the top team in the country. And with a second half 13-0 lead it looked as if this ranking were justified---until the comeback began, climaxed by a last minute touchdown pass thrown by a converted All-American halfback named (only in America) William Shakespeare to a great Irish end, a future Washington Redskins coach by the name of Wayne Milner.
