No question about that headline above, as the 0 and 8 Middies stunned the 8 and 0 Cadets, in a game that will forever be cherished in the history of the Naval Academy. In retrospect, though, that 0 and 8 was a little deceptive; the combined record of the Middies' opponents that year was 65 and 16, with three undefeated and two one-loss teams among them---perhaps the most brutal schedule in the history of Division I football.
