Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. The Wildcats' Finest Hour

Led by quarterback Babe Parilli, Bear Bryant's boys had been on a roll in 1950, outscoring their opponents by better than 6 to 1 and losing only to Tennessee in a heartbreaking 7-0 regular season finale. But what did they face in the Sugar Bowl? Only an Oklahoma eleven that was riding a 31-game winning streak, and hadn't lost since the first game of 1948.

Nobody gave the Wildcats much of a chance, but when the dust had settled, the Sooners' streak was no more, and the boys from the Bluegrass were on their way to what for many of them was the biggest celebration of their young lives. It was the highest point in Kentucky's gridiron history.
