IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

The Nittany Lions opened their season with an easy win over the last Division I Georgetown team that the world will likely see. But from a historical point of view, this game should be noted for seeing the coaching debut of a young assistant to Rip Engle---a recent Brown University grad named Joe Paterno. 58 years later and he's still doing pretty well.
