IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

Last year "Alabama's finest team" had squelched Stanford, and the year before that, the Palo Alto crew had been humiliated by the Ivy League runnerup Columbia, in one of the many "upsets of the century." But this time the Indians were prepared, and for 60 minutes they parlayed a brutal defense into a 7 to 0 thriller that brought the Rose Bowl trophy back home for the first time in eight years.

The key to the game? Six interceptions and two fumble recoveries---for the mathematically challenged, that's a turnover every seven and a half minutes. Tough to overcome that, even with a so-called "Aerial Circus."
