IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a series of changes in the makeup of conferences, HistoricFootballPosters.com has been required to remove many of the posters which we had previously offered for sale. This game is one of the posters affected.

Hopefully this will be only a temporary setback. You can contact us at sales@historicfootballposters.com if you wish to inquire about any prospects of reinstatements for the upcoming holidays. You will receive a prompt and personal reply. We thank you for your patience, and more than share your frustration.

1954 was the year in which athletic scholarships were banned by what was then only informally known as the "Ivy League," and its effects on the field were quickly seen. Whereas just a year earlier the Quakers had walked off Franklin Field with the Nittany Lion's skin, that was to be their last hurrah in the long-standing series, and after 1958 the rivalry was relegated to the history books.
